Taking a cue from metaphorical ads (probably the Mac vs. PC ones), Symantec's released a new viral site and ad to promote its
Norton 360 computer care product (similar to
Microsoft's Windows Live OneCare, combining antivirus, firewall, maintainance and backup functions in to one product) called
Should We Tell Him?.
I love the metaphorical representations, 'windows protection' - clear film on the windows, 'firewall' - gas-powered wall of fire piping around the perimeter of the house, 'email scanning' - hi-tech mailbox that scans senders and checks for attached paperclips, 'backup protection' - off-site storage for his CDs and other valuables. Smart, could've injected some more humour in it, but nice work.
Watch out for the 360s planted everywhere, get them right and you can get a 30 buck discount on Norton 360. I can't, after a few run-throughs, find the remaining 2 360 clues though, that aren't part of the clues list. Stop reading here, unless you want the clues spoiler, because I'm such a nice person.
(If you're too impatient to look for them, the clues for the discount are: House, Book, Letterbox.)
UPDATE (21/4/2007): Ok, with some help from Anton below, I've managed to find the 2 remaining hidden clues. Look away now if you want to find them yourself - be prepared to get a magnifying glass out though...
