The first one was reasonable (I was in year 6 back then so give me a break), the second one ok, the third one was better than the second, but still, it was really just the same stuff changed slightly. From then on, let's just say they never made it to the cinemas here for a reason (the 5th is yet to be seen, but with none of the original cast and the previous reason, I fail to see how it could be better - someone send me a copy and I'll let you know if it is
).
Maybe the American Pie producers are trying to beat Police Academy (which I love, even though it dragged on for even longer) in the number of sequels. I wonder where their money comes from... hell, the only reason I realised there was a fifth one was because I was trolling the JB HiFi Online store for Christmas gift ideas. It's not due for release until the 29th Dec though (why not pull it backwards a few days into for the Christmas rush? Oh, that's right, its probably so crap its not worthy to be a Christmas present). I guess maybe the production was so cheap that they probably made a profit just from sales to the stereotypical sex-crazed teenage American boys market (generalisation here, of course it doesn't apply to everyone, just a large majority, that said, we were all there once
). They're probably releasing it elsewhere just to further layer their wallets with money, and bolster their beliefs that there should be a 6th. Please, at least give us all time to forget the previous ones first...
