hi there!
I see you've stumbled on to my humble home on the net, Drive:Activated. My name's Sam, I'm an ambitious and driven uni student, residing in Melbourne, Australia, wanting to make my mark on our world. This is my site, which is mainly just my blog and some other bits. There's no definite theme to my blog, just anything that interests me, and currently that's web trends, startups, ideas and cool stuff. Check it out, leave me a comment, click on 'Who is this?' to find out more about me, or drop me a line by clicking on 'Let's Talk'. Hope you enjoy it!

- US Postal Service is removing clocks from their post offices to allow customers to better "focus on the postal service". LOL, seriously, did you think removing the clock on the wall will stop people from realising how long they've been waiting and somehow enter a time warp? Its a known fact that the more bored you are, the longer a certain period of time seems to be, so by removing clocks, you're just telling people they've been waiting for longer than normal! This isn't an old tactic though, at my old school, they tried to locate clocks at the rear of classrooms rather than the front, so the teacher would be able to see the time, but students would have to turn around.
- In the US still, Best Buy has been exposed by having an internal version of their website, without all the latest sales on it to jib their customers. Nice scam I say, pity they are an electronics store, and so nerds will visit it and realise the site's different when the 17 year-old sales person calls it up.
- Before we leave the US, here's a curious competition from a radio station - build a private part out of snow, and you can win a Xbox 360. Pity there's no pics, imagine the attention you'd get from the people driving past your house

- And finally, its here - Worms is coming to the Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday! Now finally I can boot up my dusty 360 and play something actually worth playing on it
